The Aurora Cultural Centre’s Volunteer Program provides an opportunity for community members to assist with our vibrant gallery exhibitions, events and educational programming. Our opportunities offer a chance to engage with arts and culture in Aurora, as well as enhance new and existing skills. Interested applicants must be 14 years of age or older to apply.

Current Volunteer Opportunities!
The Aurora Cultural Centre is looking for Event and Education Volunteers!
Event Volunteers will assist with performing arts concerts, family events, Gallery events and more! We are looking for Volunteers who have evening and weekend availability to complete a minimum of one shift per month. Education Volunteers will assist with education programs, in-school events, family activities and more! We are looking for volunteers with daytime and weekend availability to complete a minimum of one shift per month. Volunteers 19 years of age or older will be required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening. Interested Volunteers must submit an application either online, or in person at the Aurora Cultural Centre. All potential Volunteers will be contacted as to the status of their application. Due to demand we cannot guarantee a position for everyone, however we will do our best to find a position that fits you!
All prospective Volunteers must attend a Volunteer Orientation Session before they can begin volunteering with the Aurora Cultural Centre. The Volunteer Orientation provides an outline of the Volunteer duties, information about the Aurora Cultural Centre, Volunteer Program policies and procedures and more. It also gives prospective Volunteers the opportunity to tour the Centre, meet with the Volunteer Coordinator and ask any lingering questions before committing to Volunteer.
Orientation Sessions run twice each month on a weekday evening and weekend to provide prospective Volunteers with flexibility in scheduling. Orientation Session dates will be posted on our website on an on-going basis, so check back for the next session!

To register for an Orientation Session you must first submit a Volunteer application. If your application is successful you will receive an invite to attend one of the upcoming Orientation Sessions.
