Visit Our Galleries
Exhibitions occur in our galleries, located in a restored heritage schoolhouse in Aurora Town Square. Our galleries include Homeroom Galleries 1 and 2, Lower Hall Gallery, and Upper Hall Gallery. Each exhibition is viewable virtually through high-quality installation documentation.
Please be advised that our original stairwell entrance at 22 Church Street is no longer operational. Entrance to the galleries is accessible through Aurora Town Square, 50 Victoria Street, Aurora ON.
Admission to our galleries is free.
Gallery Hours
Homeroom Galleries
Monday – Tuesday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Wednesday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Thursday – Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday: Closed
*Gallery is additionally open during Performing Arts events
Lower Hall and Great Hall Galleries
Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm*
Sunday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
*Galleries open later if there are evening events
All galleries are closed on Ontario Statutory holidays, and in-between scheduled exhibitions periods for installation/de-installation (unless otherwise specified).
Holiday Closures: All Galleries are closed on Thursday January 1, Friday April 3, Sunday April 5, Monday April 6, Monday May 18, Wednesday July 1, Monday August 3, Monday September 7, Wednesday September 30, Monday October 12, Friday December 25, and Saturday December 26.
Gallery Tours
Guided tours are available at a rate of $5 cash donation per person, or Pay-What-You-Can. They occur in 45-minute time slots during our designated tour schedule:
Tuesdays: 6 – 9 pm
Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: 9 am – 1 pm
Tours must be booked 48 hours in advance through our Calendly link: Gallery Tour Booking Link (Calendly). Upon booking, additional information and confirmation may be requested prior to visit through the provided contact information. Tours are provided in English and/or Cantonese.
Gallery Tours include all exhibitions listed on our Current Exhibitions page. They occur when all galleries are activated and pause during exhibition installation and deinstallation periods.
