SUMMARY:Alana Bridgewater Sings Nina Simone
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nClick Here to Buy Tickets! \nRegular: $50.00 (HST included)\nStudent: $15.00 (HST included) \nMix & Match Subscription Package (excluding Gold Circle and Family Shows):\nChoose 3+/5+/10+ ACC shows at once and save 15%/20%/25%\, respectively!\nDiscount provided at checkout. \n\nAurora Cultural Centre Presents\n\nAlana Bridgewater Sings Nina Simone\nDavide De Simone Performance Hall\nAurora Town Square | 50 Victoria Street\, Aurora \n6:45 pm Doors Open\n7:30 pm Show Start \n\nExperience the raw power of the “High Priestess of Soul” through the extraordinary voice of Alana Bridgewater. Born in Newmarket and celebrated across stage and screen – as Killer Queen in Mirvish’s We Will Rock You\, in Soulpepper’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom at New York’s Signature Center\, and as Mr. King Dice in the hit video game Cuphead – Bridgewater channels Nina Simone’s spirit with a voice and presence equal to the task. This revelatory concert spans 18 songs from Simone’s iconic repertoire\, from I Put a Spell on You and Feeling Good to the civil rights fire of Mississippi Goddam\, woven together with the stories behind the music. This is an evening of jazz\, soul\, and raw human truth that will stay with you long after the last note fades. \nClick Here to Buy Tickets!\n\nThis presentation is made possible with the support of \nSeason Sponsor\n\nSustaining Sponsor\n \n \n\n \nLead Sponsor\n\n\n\n\nProgram Sponsors\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n\nFunders\n \n \n \n  \n \n\nThe Aurora Cultural Centre participates in the Access 2 Program and supports removing the barriers to arts access for patrons with disabilities and their support persons.  To purchase tickets using an Access 2 card\, please contact the Box Office at (365) 500-3313 or email rleisure@aurora.ca\n\nRETURN TO THE PERFORMING ARTS PAGE
