Join our one-day wood carving workshop, perfect for beginners and seasoned carvers alike. Dive into the art of carving in a supportive and inspiring environment, with a special Easter-inspired twist to elevate your creative experience! If you have carving tools, please bring them, but the instructor will lend you some as well. Don’t forget to pack a lunch for the day! Enjoy!

Meet Your Instructor
Instructor Arnold Koch was born in Switzerland and moved to Canada in the early 80s. He currently lives in Mt. Albert with his family. He started woodturning in Switzerland before moving to Canada, where he continued to work as a woodturner, amassing 47 years of experience. About 35 years ago, Arnold began wood carving and joined the Ontario Wood Carvers Association nearly 30 years ago. He has attended numerous shows and received ribbons and awards. For the last 15 years, Koch has also been making and selling wood carving knives. Now, recently retired, he continues to wood turn for projects around the house and others.
