In this beginner class students will work with the beautiful medium of watercolours through demonstrations, exercises, and paintings. We will be learning about the proper tools and supplies, understanding the balance of colour and water, mixing colours, and the importance of tone.
Students have the option of purchasing all their own supplies through the Materials List above or for the cost of $15.00 they can rent a watercolour kit which includes paint, palette, and brush from the Instructor. If choosing the rental kit option, all additional miscellaneous materials (tape, eraser, pencil, etc.) must be purchased by the student. Rental Kit fee payable to Instructor at first class. Rental Kits will stay onsite and will be provided at the start each class.
Please notify the Centre at the time of registration if choosing the rental kit option by emailing info@auroraculturalcentre.ca.
