In this beginner class students will work with the beautiful medium of watercolours through demonstrations, exercises, and paintings. We will be learning about the proper tools and supplies, understanding the balance of colour and water, mixing colours, and the importance of tone. Materials List for download above.
Meet Your Instructor
Instructor Karen Levert (B.A.) is a watercolour artist residing in York Region. She has been an instructor for the past eight years, including instruction through Newmarket School of Fine Art and the Aurora Seniors’ Centre. Karen has participated in many juried shows and has won awards for her watercolour entries. Karen is inspired by the transparency of watercolour and the magic of watercolour surprises.
