Saturday, May 22 | One-Day | Virtual | Adults 16+ | 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Calling all painting newbies – this workshop is for you! Call a friend (or two!) and spend the morning learning how to create a beautiful image of cherry blossoms in acrylic paint on canvas in a unique step-by-step virtual paint-along experience.

$35.00 (HST included)– with Art Kit

$25.00 (HST included) – without Art Kit

Supplies

You may opt to provide your own tools and materials (see Materials List for items needed), or choose to select the package which includes an art kit with tools and materials along with a free tote bag and t-shirt (*sizes limited*) provided by the Centre.

If you choose the Art Kit option, it will be available for curbside pick-up in Aurora. You will be provided both options at time of purchase. If you have questions about anything on the Materials List, please contact leanne@auroraculturalcentre.ca

Zoom access information will be provided to registered students via email closer to the start date.

Requirements

In order to participate in our virtual workshop you will need access to a stable internet connection, a free Zoom account, a computer, laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone, and a dedicated space to make art. Bring your art supplies, snacks, a lunch, and your imagination!

Meet Your Instructor

Instructor Kimberley Smith enjoys teaching painting to make a difference with people in her communities. She recognizes the need to safely bring people together during the pandemic. She is passionate about building connections and giving participants time to take their mind off things while they create a fun, memorable experience! Kimberley went to George Brown College of Applied Arts & Technology and has worked in many marketing and graphic design positions before building her own businesses, Young at Heart Painting and Kimberfly Design.
