Have you always admired beautiful handwriting and wanted to know how to achieve it? Then this beginner’s workshop is for you! In this step-by-step virtual experience complete with digital hand-outs, you will learn the French Roundhand, a type of calligraphy that uses a broad edged pen with a beautiful flow that is easy to learn. Your cards and invitations will take on a whole new flair! This versatile and attractive script is well within your reach. Returning students from previous workshops are invited and encouraged to learn this new style.

Supplies
You may opt to provide your own tools and materials (see Materials List for items needed), or choose to select the package which includes an art kit with tools and materials along with a free tote bag provided by the Centre.
If you choose the second option, the kit will be available for curbside pick-up in Aurora. You will be provided both options at time of purchase.

- Access to a stable internet connection
- Free Zoom account for Zoom live sessions
- Computer, laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone
- Dedicated space to make art
- Supplies specific to your program

Meet Your Instructor
Salman Khattak is an avid Calligrapher and the fountain pen enthusiast/creative force behind the Toronto Pen Company. Salman teaches Calligraphy through his workshops and private lessons where he specializes in Western and Arabic styles.
