Get your hands messy this week! Campers will design and create 3D pieces using clay, model magic, papier mâché, and found objects. They will work with a variety of tools to discover unique properties of these unconventional mediums.  Each week finishes with a student art exhibition for family & friends!

The Aurora Cultural Centre has teamed up with the Aurora Armoury – hosted by the Canadian Food & Wine Institute (CFWI) to blend visual and culinary arts this summer, as our camps will be taking place in this beautiful newly renovated space while we are “on the road” during the construction of Library Square. Each week, campers will use a variety of mediums from acrylic paint, watercolours, and clay, while exploring a range of art techniques. They will also will get to try their hand at the culinary arts by creating their own delicious dishes, each tied to one of our week’s themes!

Please note that the Aurora Cultural Centre and CFWI Aurora Armoury will make every possible attempt to accommodate food sensitives/allergies, but if your child has severe food allergies it is not recommended that they participate in the culinary activity portion of the camp.
