Qiu Xia, Pipa (Chinese lute) virtuoso makes an exclusive Ontario appearance travelling in from her Vancouver home. Originally hailing from Shaanxi, Qiu Xia has made a career of performing with her Montrealer husband André Thibault, with symphonies and her Silk Road ensemble. With “China Speaks Your Language” Qiu Xia and André travel the world with their instruments and stories presenting an engaging family presentation designed to delight and enlighten.
