Monday, February 1 | One-Day | Virtual | 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Plug in with us virtually for a full-day of PA Day fun with artist-instructor Kimberley Smith! Join us from the comfort of your home and stay engaged all day creating art, playing games, and getting up on your feet to move around, complete with several “recesses” to break up the day. Virtual campers will draw, paint, and sketch while using a variety of techniques. Parental guidance is welcome, but not required.

Supplies

For local campers or those willing to travel to Aurora who would like their materials provided, an Art Kit with supplies and a free t-shirt are available for curbside pickup at the CFWI Aurora Armoury – 89 Mosley St., Aurora on:

  • Friday, January 29 from 4:00-6:00 pm and
  • Sunday, January 31 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

The cost of the program including the Art Kit and t-shirt is $45.00.

If you are not local, are unable to pick up an Art Kit,  or would like to supply all of your own materials, you can do so by reviewing the Materials List here. The cost of the program without the Art Kit is $35.00.

Please review the Materials List here to determine which option you would like to select. You will be asked to select your Art Kit option upon check out.

Requirements

In order to participate in our virtual PA Day you will need access to a stable internet connection, a free Zoom account, a computer, laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone, and a dedicated space to make art. Bring your art supplies, snacks, a lunch, and your imagination!

Meet Your Instructor

Instructor Kimberley Smith enjoys teaching painting to make a difference with people in her communities. She recognizes the need to safely bring people together during the pandemic. She is passionate about building connections and giving participants time to take their mind off things while they create a fun, memorable experience! Kimberley went to George Brown College of Applied Arts & Technology and has worked in many marketing and graphic design positions before building her own businesses, Young at Heart Painting and Kimberfly Design.
