A mosaic is an image or pattern created by arranging small regular or irregular pieces of coloured stone, tile, glass, or ceramic, held in place by an adhesive, and covering a surface. Mosaics have a rich, long history and have been crafted since the ancient world. In this workshop, you will learn under esteemed mosaics artist, Karen Johnston about the tools and techniques to establish your unique design and create a decorative frame. From afar, mosaic art glistens with its impressive array of colours and patterns, while up close, the intricacies involved are revealed.
All tools and materials provided upon payment of $15.00 Materials Fee to instructor at workshop.
