Learn to make dazzling and stylish rings, earrings, bracelets, and wrapped stone pendants using simple hand tools and tarnish resistant silver-plated wire in this fun full-day beginner’s workshop taught by multi-talented artisan Lucya Almeida who has over 30 years of experience. Walk away with five finished pieces of your own unique handmade silver jewellery! All tools and materials provided upon payment of Materials Fee to instructor at workshop. Bring a bagged lunch.

Meet Your Instructor

Instructor Lucya Almeida is a multi-talented artist and musician who has been making unique one of a kind jewelry and art for over 25 years. She is mostly self taught and incorporates her interest in music and healing modalities into her work. She specializes in copper, semi precious stones and collectible Canadian penny jewelry. Her work is most characterized as “refreshingly different”.  She has shown work across Canada in juried shows and gallery shops.
