If you’re an artist curious about the creative potential of digital art on your iPad or tablet, this workshop is designed for you. It covers essential topics for new users, including brushes, gestures, layers, color, file formats, and organization in Procreate. This workshop is ideal for those with prior painting and drawing experience and iPad/tablet proficiency. We’ll guide you through creating a canvas and using digital painting tools similar to traditional methods, allowing you to experiment and create your own artwork, such as a still life or any subject of your choice.

Meet Your Instructor
Instructor Jan Dolby is an internationally published illustrator and a Fine Arts graduate of The University of Guelph. Originally from St. John’s Newfoundland, Jan currently lives in Aurora with her family. Outside of her studio, Jan can be found on the beach shores of Lake Huron. She believes kindness and chocolate can cure anything.
