Scottish born folk poet and singer abandoned a carpentry career for music. This turned out handy for the shelf full of JUNO Awards and numerous accolades acquired over the eleven record releases spanning his career. David chronicles the lives of the working Canadian with humour, and “open hearted” singing style and acute observations in his storytelling. David hails from Lanark County on the edge of the Ottawa Valley.
