Art Supply Swap

Exchange your unused or gently used art and craft supplies for something new-to-you at our FREE drop-in art supply swap.
Drop off your items and browse the available supplies. Items must be in functional, immediately useable condition. Leftover art supplies will be recycled or donated to the Aurora Cultural Centre Education Studio for use in our programming and camps. No large donations will be accepted!
What to bring:
Art and craft supplies in unused or gently used condition, including but not limited to:
• Art media: paint, paint mediums, chalks, charcoals, pastels, pencils, inks, pencil crayons, markers, erasers, blenders, clay, printmaking materials
• Surfaces & supports: blank canvases, canvas stretchers, paper, panels, sketchbooks (cut out used pages), frames
• Tools: paint brushes, palettes, palette knives, pencil sharpeners, rulers, scissors, glue guns, sandpaper, pottery tools, printmaking tools, portfolio cases, d-hooks and wires
• Textile arts: yarn, fabric, thread, ribbon, sewing notions, embroidery supplies, knitting needles, crochet hooks, patterns, looms, embroidery hoops
• Crafts: beads, jewelry-making materials, foam, felt, scrapbooking supplies, stamps, ink pads, glue, tape
What NOT to bring:
• Aerosols, varnishes, fixatives, solvents, toxic paint mediums, house paint, or other hazardous materials
• Damaged, broken, or highly used items
• Sharp objects without a safety mechanism/lid
• Expired or dried-up items
• Art prints or completed works
• Large items that do not fit on a table
No large donations will be accepted!
