Take an artistic voyage of discovery around the globe to learn about famous artists, their unique styles, and how they were inspired by the world around them. Class includes weekly live-online interactive sessions with your instructor and fellow classmates, as well as weekly pre-recorded video tutorials that you can watch at your own pace and revisit as many times as you’d like!
You may opt to provide your own tools and materials (see Materials List for items needed), or choose to select the package which includes an art kit with tools and materials, free t-shirt, and tote bag provided by the Centre. If you choose the second option, the kit will be available for curbside pick-up in Aurora. You will be provided both options at time of purchase.

If you opt to purchase your own supplies, we recommend purchasing art supplies from either: Curry’s, DeSerres, Michaels, or Amazon. - Access to a stable internet connection

- Computer, laptop or tablet with a camera and microphone
- Dedicated space to make art

Meet Your Instructor
Instructor Danielle Zafirovski is a teacher with York Region District School Board and a practicing visual artist, specializing in painting and printmaking. Danielle has her Fine Arts degree (B.F.A.) from Queen’s University and her Teaching degree (B.Ed, Arts Integration) from York University. Danielle is OCT certified to teach Primary, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Visual Arts and History. She has also taken additional qualifications in Special Education Pt. 1 and English as a Second Language Pt. 1. As an LTO teacher with YRDSB Danielle has taught at Unionville PS, Central Park PS, Mount Joy PS, Ellen Fairclough PS, and Markham District HS. She has also taught at YRDSB Arts Camp along with Art Grid in Richmond Hill. Danielle is excited to bring her passion and expertise to our children’s programs!
