Sunday | November 6 | 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
In this introductory workshop, students will use a small press to create prints by scratching into plexiglass with a needle, inking and wiping the surface, and then printing onto damp printmaking paper with the press. After a few prints have been made, the technique of Chine-collé will be introduced where a coloured paper will be added during the printing process. In this way colour appears without adding ink. All printmaking materials and tools provided upon payment of Materials Fee to instructor at workshop. Students are asked to bring drawings, photos, or image files for inspiration.
All tools and materials provided upon payment of $20.00 Materials Fee. Materials Fee payable to instructor at class.
