Saturdays | 8 weeks | Class skips October 12 and November 16

Travel to the past to discover how art has changed throughout history and be inspired to create pieces based on key artists and movements, from Picasso to Pop Art and everything in between and beyond. Your emerging artist will learn composition, design, perspective and more, while having fun and creating unique pieces. Students will be working with a number of mediums such as acrylic paint, watercolour, pastels, and charcoal, along with techniques such as printmaking and collage to create two dimensional and three-dimensional works.

Visual arts classes for children include:

  • All tools and materials
  • Studio-style learning
  • Visits to the Centre’s onsite galleries
  • End-of session art show
  • Free t-shirt for messy fun!
