We asked. You answered. We listened.
In-person classes and workshops return this Fall.
We look forward to welcoming you back to a safe environment where you can feel inspired to create. The health and safety of our students, instructors, volunteers, and staff are our number one priority and we are taking all necessary precautions to create and maintain a safe environment.
We have implemented a number of new safety measures: Class sizes have been reduced to allow for ample physical distancing; participants will be seated at separate pre-sanitized workstations; all are required to wear face masks in accordance with York Region Public Health guidelines, and program spaces will be equipped with hand sanitizer and a sink for thorough hand washing. Multi-week programs have been shortened as we recognize that it is difficult to commit to lengthy sessions at this time. More detailed information on our COVID-19 Protocols is on our dedicated COVID-19 page.
The Town of Aurora construction plans for Library Square start to take shape in 2020, requiring us to move offsite. We’ll be “taking the show on the road”!
Educational Programs this season will take place at venues throughout Aurora including the CFWI – Aurora Armoury and the Aurora Seniors Centre. Venue locations are listed on individual class web pages. Locations that are TBC will be confirmed via email prior to the program start date.
Programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. We request that you submit your name and contact information to our online wait list. Please check the individual program listing on our website to see class availability. Wait listed participants are contacted in sequential order. We must receive payment information at the time of contact in order to be eligible for program placement. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Aurora Cultural Centre by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
