Your young artist’s imagination will come to life as they create their own flip book animation! Students will discover the secrets behind fundamental drawing techniques to create and develop their own cartoon characters. They will learn how to make their characters move, change form through metamorphosis, have them appear closer or further away through foreshortening, as well as facial expressions to bring their animated ideas to life. They will then learn how to plan out their character’s actions in a step by step storyboard in order to transfer the drawings to a moving flip book that they can play over and over again!
All tools and materials provided; includes free t-shirt for messy fun!
