A new full day camp for 2017! We’re pleased to partner with the To Be Determined Theatre Company to offer Swords and Stage, their best-selling full day camp. Imagine a week that melds swords, stage combat and theatre fun? It’s almost too good to be true!

TBD Theatre Co. is a youth-focused company that runs programs and tours professional theatre for young audiences. They have been running this camp for 5 years now, and are thrilled to be teaching this camp at the Aurora Cultural Centre.

Each day of camp will be broken up into half a day of theatre games, activities, rehearsal with the second half of each day focused on basic fencing training and stage fight choreography. In addition, campers will get the opportunity for outdoor fun on the Centre’s front lawn. During the week campers will choose a scene of their choice from a selection of popular movies (Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Robin Hood, Princess Bride, etc.). Each day they will practice the acting and technical choreography, complete with costumes, making props and practicing with plastic fencing swords. Campers use all of these new skills to choreograph a stage combat scene so at the end of the week to show off their new moves for friends & family!

A truly one-of-a-kind drama and stage combat experience.
