The AURORA CULTURAL CENTRE invites YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS to participate in the 5-50-500 Fundraising Campaign!

What is the 5-50-500 Campaign?

The Aurora Cultural Centre is celebrating 5 years in our community by reaching out to 50 local businesses for a contribution of $500. So: 5-50-500! The goal of the campaign in to raise $25,000 by December 31, 2015 – funding that will go directly towards the free family activities, amazing concerts, heritage programs, art exhibitions, and classes, workshops and summer camps that help make Aurora a vibrant place to live and work!

Why is Your Participation So Important?

  • We have been engaging and inspiring Aurora for 5 years with diverse arts and culture, but Aurora is growing quickly – and so are we! To keep up with demand while still keeping our programs low cost and high quality, we need your support.

  • We are truly unique! We are not just an art gallery, not just a concert venue, not just a museum, and not just an art school – we’re ALL of the above! But because we operate outside of the box, we don’t qualify for most traditional arts grants and other government funding.

  • We are an independent nonprofit organization. Although we receive partial funding from the Town of Aurora, we cannot sustain our current programs without reaching out to new sources.

How Will Your Participation be Recognized?

  • Your business will be listed by name and publicly thanked in the Auroran Newspaper at the close of the campaign as well as on a permanent plaque to be hung in the Cultural Centre.

  • Your business will be listed by name and recognized for your contribution on the Aurora Cultural Centre website as well as through our social media channels which reach hundreds of followers.

  • Your business will receive a tax receipt and a recognition plaque to display in your location.

Be a Campaign Ambassador

Campaign Ambassadors are participating businessess who bring other businesses to the Campaign. Ambassadors receive a free Friends of the Centre package, giving you, your staff, and/or your clients access to free and discounted tickets, as well as discounts on classes, space rentals, and gift shop purchases – value of over $300! We’ll be ringing our school bell 5 times every time a new Participating Business joins the Campaign so that all of Aurora knows we have your support. Help us keep that bell ringing!
