Ways of Seeing Art Events are free gallery events offered to enhance the gallery experience. All are welcome to attend; dates and times are noted with each exhibition.
The Centre is home to four gallery spaces; Red Gallery, Blue Gallery, Apple Suites Gallery and the Great Hall Gallery. Gallery visits are free to the public, and offered during public gallery hours.
The Galleries may also be open during special events and certain rentals; conditions apply.
Please find a map to the Centre here. There is free parking in the small lot on the east side of the building, as well as on the street. Please make note of any restricted on-street parking hours. Located in the heritage downtown core, the Centre is served by regional GO Transit and local York Region Transit.
Yes, the Centre is accessible. There is one designated accessible parking space in the east parking lot. The Centre has an automatic door and elevator entry off this east parking lot, at the glass entryway. There are accessible washrooms are located on all floors of the building. Please inform our staff at time at any point during your visit should you have any questions or requirements so that we may ensure you have the best-possible experience.
Registration for arts classes and camps opens each season on a designated day. Keep an eye on our social media, or sign up for our newsletter to get advance notice of when registration opens up. Once open, registration can take place online (coming late Spring 2019), over the phone at 905 713-1818, or in-person at the Centre during regular business hours.
Yes. The Centre works closely with our professional arts instructional staff to design a curriculum that is age-appropriate, whether for a child, a young person or an adult. Please understand that we must adhere to these age ranges. Proof of age is required for all children’s programs and summer camps.

Tickets for Aurora Cultural Centre for 2019-2020 events can now be purchased online, over the phone Box Office at 905 713-1818, or in-person at the Box Office during regular business hours.
All tickets are final sale. No refund or exchange is available, unless the performance is cancelled entirely without a replacement performance scheduled.
Seating to ticketed events is by General Admission. Doors to the Brevik Hall performance space open 30 minutes prior to curtain time for adult shows, and 15 minutes prior to curtain time for family shows. Donors and sponsors are offered reserved seating; learn more here how you can become a donor.
A licensed cash bar is available at many Brevik Hall Presents evening adult concert presentations. Most often located in the south end of the Great Hall, patrons are welcome to bring their bar purchases into Brevik Hall. Late comers will be seated by event staff during a suitable break in the performance. Patrons are requested to turn off mobile devices while attending ticketed events. Please, no filming of concert events unless otherwise indicated.
Tickets are required for all patrons attending a ticketed event, regardless of age. Special discounted Family 4-pack pricing is available for our Kaleidoscope Family and Meridian Magic Carpet series presentations.
