Please join us for the launch of 2 gallery exhibitions

  • 1917: Canada Comes of Age | A Story Told in Images Exhibition & Sale
  • Lesson Learned: From Classroom to Gallery

These two exhibitions showcase the breadth and diversity of visual art created in our community and beyond. 1917: Canada Comes of Age is a professional exhibition that examines Canada in 1917 – 50 years removed from Confederation, and in a pivotal coming-of-age time. Curated by artists (and brothers) Dave and Ross Rheaume, with the participation of 14 artists. Lesson Learned: From Classroom to Gallery is our first-ever showcase of visual art created by the students and instructors of the Aurora Cultural Centre’s many educational programs.

Enjoy chatting with the artists, then make a holiday evening of it and stay around for the Sultans of String Christmas Caravan Concert. Music and art make a wonderful seasonal experience.

Drop by between 6 – 8 pm to meet the artists of our two December shows.

All welcome | cash bar and light refreshments.

The Aurora Cultural Centre gratefully acknowledges support from Gallery Sponsor
