Please join us for the launch of two gallery exhibitions

  • 1917: Canada Comes of Age | A Story Told in Images Exhibition & Sale
  • Lesson Learned: From Classroom to Gallery

These two exhibitions showcase the breadth and diversity of visual art created in our community and beyond. 1917: Canada Comes of Age is a professional exhibition that examines Canada in 1917 – 50 years removed from Confederation, and in a pivotal coming-of-age time. Curated by artists (and brothers) Dave and Ross Rheaume, with the participation of 14 artists. Lesson Learned: From Classroom to Gallery is our first showcase of visual art created by the students and instructors of the Aurora Cultural Centre’s many educational programs.

Enjoy chatting with the artists, then make a holiday evening of it and stay around for the Sultans of String Christmas Caravan Concert. Music and art make a wonderful seasonal experience.

All welcome | Cash bar and light refreshments

The Aurora Cultural Centre gratefully acknowledges support from Gallery Sponsor
