Event Details

In April 2017,  the Aurora Cultural Centre, Aurora Historical Society and Town of Aurora Museum & Archives commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. It was a memorable night of songs, letters from the front ready by the cadets, and a moving display of heritage artifacts and archival material.

Based on the overwhelming community support that night, we have once again partnered together to shine a light on a defining time in Canada’s history. We welcome back vocalist Suzi Wesson and pianist Doug Balfour with a new collection of songs from the late-war and post-war era, a pop-up local artifact display and stories read from the local headlines.

Free admission; suitable for young people and adults.
