"A Sheard, Wendellful Delight"

UPDATE - This concert SOLD OUT - thank you!

Presenting a concert with John Sheard, pianist and Tour Music Director of CBC\'s Vinyl Cafe, teams with guitar wizard Wendell Ferguson for a riotous evening of "rock, mock, melody & parody." Hilarity will ensue!

Working as a duo, their stage and song patter will keep the you rolling in the aisle - while their musical talent will leave you breathless. From John\'s famous medleys, including "Movie Night in Vinylland - 33 Movie Themes in 5 Minutes," to spot-on impressions of Sean Connery singing "Wild Thing", (as well as his popular rendition of Stuart McLean being, well, Stuart McLean). Wendell will mesmerize with his Chet Atkins virtuosity on guitar, along with favourites such as "Throw Another Fiddle on the Fire." A few duets will even recall the days of Flanders & Swann. Beyond the hilarity, you\'ll be dazzled by their incredible musicianship.

John Sheard has performed throughout Canada for the past 30-odd years, and is particularly well-known as the pianist and Tour Music Director for CBC\'s Vinyl Cafe with Stuart McLean. A recording artist, he has also composed and arranged for Murray McLaughlin, Andrea Martin, The Pointer Sisters, and has worked on TV shows from Sesame Street to David Letterman.
Wendell Ferguson is a York Region-based guitarist. He has several Juno nominations, and 9 wins with Canadian Country Music Awards. Renowned not only for his witty lyrics (think "Happy Songs Sell Records," and "This Unemployment Just Ain\'t Working"), but also for his signature riffs and fingerstyle playing.

And - this update just in from John Sheard - he and Wendell have added the great Dennis Pendrith on upright bass for this night only! One of Canada\'s finest, he has worked with Lightfoot, Cockburn, Bachman and Murray Mclaughlin.

Don\'t miss this York Region exclusive!
